The Ridgewood Junior Football Association is committed to inspiring young athletes in an inclusive, instructional and safe environment. We offer youth football programs for all children who live in the town of Ridgewood, NJ entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. We are a certified non-profit organization that has been developing young athletes for generations and our focus remains on the personal growth of each individual.

2025 Mark Your Calendar (Tackle Programs)

Equipment Pickup: August 10th
Practice Starts (5 days a week for 2 weeks): August 11th
Jamboree Weekend: August 23rd/24th
Ridgewood Football Social: TBD
Mandatory Weigh-in: 09/06 weekend
Regular Season Starts: 9/13 weekend
Regular Season Ends: 10/1 weekend
Playoffs (A Years Only): 10/8 and 10/15 weekends

2025 Mark Your Calendar (Flag Programs)

Teams Finalized and Communications Sent: Mid August
Optional Scrimmages: 08/23 weekend (no Games Labor Day)
Regular Season: 9/6 weekend - 10/18 weekend (7 Games)
Single Day Tourney: 10/25 weekend

Note: Given the growing rosters and limited field space, we will be capping teams this year at 12 players. If your grade is full, we will offer the opportunity to play in a grade above or below, depending on availability. Last year's 5th & 6th grade classes were the two that reached capacity.
