Established in 1959, the purpose of the Ridgewood
Junior Football Association (“RJFA”) is to promote
the sport of football among the children of the Village
of Ridgewood by providing them with a competitive and safe
environment in which they can develop their football skills,
build their character and learn good sportsmanship. We encourage
all children in grades two through eight to participate
in our program.
In recent
years the RJFA has set League records for participation
in both our tackle and flag football programs with over
400 football players and over 100 cheerleaders.
To
learn more about the RJFA, please check our Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQ) page, our (History)
page, or contact us at: RidgewoodJuniorFootball@verizon.net
Ridgewood Junior
Football Association
competes in the North Jersey Junior Football League.
The league is divided into 3 levels: Seniors
(grades 7 & 8), Juniors (Grades 5 & 6), and Pee Wees
(Grades 3 & 4).
The league is
further divided into four divisions, with four teams
in each division. This season, due to the
fantastic participation in Ridgewood, we will have a
team in not one but two divisions! The teams
will be known as "Ridgewood I" and "Ridgewood II." The
league divisions consist of:
