• A Copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate;

• Two recent passport size Photos (head shots from a recent sports team are fine);
  
• A check for $175 made payable to the Ridgewood Junior Football Association (“RJFA”) to cover costs associated with running the program. (Please note that there is a “Family maximum” registration fee of $350 for families with two or more players in the tackle football program)
  
• An Additional check for $225, made payable to the RJFA, which serves as an equipment deposit for each player. This check will be returned at the end of the season upon return of the equipment.
   
• The registration fee for Flag Football is $75. There is no equipment deposit, birth certificate or picture requirement.
  
  
  Mail-in Registration and Late Fees:
  We ask that you make every attempt to register on one of the three dates listed above. In person registration allows us to properly plan our equipment purchases, coaching assignments and practice schedules.
  
  Players who miss the scheduled in-person registration dates have the opportunity to register by mail until June 30, 2007. Please complete the application form and mail it with the other referenced items (birth certificate, photos, check, etc.) to:

Late registrants are welcomed. However, a late fee will be assessed. The fee covers administrative and additional costs for equipment purchases made on short notice from our suppliers. Accordingly, there will be a late fee charged to all registrations received after June 30, 2007 as noted below:

• Players who register for Tackle Football after June 30, are subject to a $75 late fee, which will be added to their registration fee.
   
• Players who register for Flag Football after June 30 are subject to a $25 late fee added to their registration fee.

Weights and Measures:
Ridgewood is a member of the North Jersey Junior Football League (NJJFL) and must adhere to maximum weight and age limits for each school grade group. The limits for the 2007 season are:

• Rockets (7th & 8th grade): 160 pounds / 15th Birthday must be after August 31, 2007
  
• Jets (5th & 6th grade): 130 pounds / 12th Birthday must be after May 31, 2007
  
• Missiles (3rd & 4th grade): 107 pounds / 10th Birthday must be after May 31, 2007
